Travellers to be offered 'first-ever' online safe deposit system
Air France and Allianz, in partnership with Mondial Assistance, are introducing an online safe deposit service for travellers.
They claim it is the first ever solution of its kind, combining the secure storage of documents with assistance services - Allianz Protect.
The safe deposit system - accessible from www.airfrance.com - is available in four languages with round-the-clock access.
Customers will be able to archive, consult and retrieve all their electronic documents of both a personal and professional nature, from any location.
The online safe deposit system will enable customers to authorize a designated person to access documents in their safe and to enable doctors from Mondial Assistance to provide remote treatment.
Allianz has designed two packages for Air France; Protec’fly - offering storage up to 5 gigabytes of data; Protec’fly Premium - offering unlimited capacity.
“Air France is the first airline to offer a digital safe deposit system. Through this partnership with Allianz, Air France provides its customers or future passengers a novel solution for managing their documents, wherever they are in the world”, said Patrick Roux, head of marketing at Air France KLM.
“Allianz, Europe’s leading insurance and financial services company, has teamed up with Mondial Assistance to develop a unique solution for Air France, combining a system for the secure storage of personal documents with assistance services tailored to travellers’ needs », explained Dominique Monéra, Head of Marketing Prospective and Innovation at Allianz France.
