Risk management experts will meet next month to discuss health risks in the workplace.
The seminar is part of the autumn programme of training events organised by Northern Ireland ALARM - The National Forum for Risk Management in the Public Sector.
The issue of health risks to employees across the UK is currently being tackled by Britain's public services. ALARM hopes that the seminar will promote a holistic approach to the managing workplace health risks.
ALARM NI chairman Mike Keating said: "Potential health risks at work is an issue that affects every single person in employment in the UK. Whether you are sitting at your desk in an office, making a delivery or lifting heavy materials on a building site, you are always at risk.
"A robust and holistic risk management approach is required if effective prevention, detection and/or remediation measures are to be implemented.
"The seminar will highlight examples of best practise and how to achieve it and delegates can share their knowledge and experience of addressing this type of risk."
The event will take place on Wednesday, 2 October ,from 2.00-4.00pm at the Cecil Ward Building, Linenhall Street, Belfast.
