Ageas Retail wants to develop its partnerships business
Ageas Retail has made five high senior hires to its partnerships team as part of plans to develop the division.
The partnerships arm is responsible for selling insurance through household brands. John Lewis, Tesco Bank and Age UK are among the brands it currently partners with.
Caroline King, Steve Price, Claire Green, Victoria Wilkinson and Lara Spencer have joined the business in a series of newly created roles.
King is partnerships operations director, with responsibility for managing sales and service, while Price is head of partnerships development.
Reporting into Price is Spencer, who is business partnerships manager, focusing on managing the acquisition of new partners.
Green has been appointed as the head of strategic partnerships, focusing on developing existing and new partnerships, while Wilkinson has taken on the role of partnerships manager.
All five, who have had senior roles in insurance companies, will report to partnerships managing director Ant Middle.
He said: “Caroline, Steve, Victoria, Claire and Lara bring a powerful mix of skills and experience which will help us build on already strong foundations to grow the Partnerships business.
“Our aim is to be the insurance partner of choice for the UK’s most well-known and respected brands, delivering a service specific to the needs of their customer bases – from point of quote right through to claim, all in the partner’s brand. We are delighted to have made these appointments at such an exciting time for the development of the Ageas Retail partnerships business.”
