ACE takes six staff from other insurers
ACE has made a string of appointments in its northern branches.
In Manchester, Ace has appointed Mark Ellison as business development manager, Paul Steventon as casualty underwriting manager and Stuart Chamberlain as senior casualty underwriter.
Ellison was previously RSA broker development manager for the north of England, Steventon was Tokio Marine senior casualty underwriter and Chamberlain was senior casualty underwriter at Liberty Mutual.
Chris Boden has joined the Leeds branch as business development manager. Previously Boden was Allianz Insurance general commercial business developer for brokers in the Yorkshire area.
Ian McIntire has been appointed as senior package underwriter at ACE’s Newcastle branch after leaving MMA, where he was responsible for generating new business from their Newcastle office.
ACE has also made two regional appointments that will be based in its Manchester office.
Jeff Hobson is now ACE northern property and casualty manager. Previously Willis regional managing director for Leeds, he will manage and develop property, casualty, technical and environmental business for ACE’s northern region.
Penny Grainge has been appointed as northern ecommerce business development manager. Grainge worked as a connectivity account manager for AXA before joining ACE.
ACE northern regional manager Ian Fox said: “The seniority and expertise of our new appointments sends a strong message to the market that we are continuing to place significant resource behind our local branches and, importantly, empowering them with the authority and autonomy to deliver even the most complex and larger client programmes where required.”
