Promotions made to assist growth
Ace today made two promotions to assist growth in its environmental liability business.
Wayne Harrington was promoted to UK & Ireland manager for environmental risk and Iain Harrison to environmental risk underwriter.
Harrington will take responsibility for strategic underwriting direction, including product innovation and distribution development, across the UK and Ireland, having helped launch Ace’s environmental risk unit in 2005.
Harrison brings experience from Mott MacDonald’s environmental consultancy team, specialising in contaminated land, industrial permitting and environmental impact assessment.
Harrington said: “ACE Environmental Risk has already established itself with an excellent reputation for providing expert advice and underwriting skills in this growing market. The expanded team will be ideally placed to maximise new product opportunities in the UK and Ireland markets and offer brokers tailored support and underwriting to optimise their growth potential.”
