Insurers join forces with the CBI and Citizens Advice Bureau over crucial reforms
The ABI has reiterated its call for the government to introduce its proposals for reforming personal injury compensation, set to be unveiled by the end of this month.
The Association will today host a Parliamentary reception, with the CBI and Citizens Advice Bureau, where high level speakers will pile pressure on ministers as the deadline for an announcement looms.
The government first published its proposals for a faster personal injury claims system in April 2007.
Stephen Haddrill, the ABI’s director general, was due to tell today’s reception: “Every day without change is another day of unnecessary delay for claimants.”
