Jason Brown claimed he was unaware policy had expired, BBC says
Aberdeen goalkeeper Jason Brown has been banned from driving after he was caught driving without insurance, the BBC reports.
He pleaded guilty at Aberdeen Justice of the Peace Court and was fined £365. The six penalty points he received on his licence resulted in a six-month ban owing to totting up.
The Scottish Premier Leagure footballer was pulled over by police during routine checks in August.
The BBC said Brown claimed he was unaware his policy had been cancelled.
