Dudley-based MGA Commercial Express has named Jason Anthony as its new non-executive director.
In his new role, he will be supporting the MGA’s underwriting operations and the growth of its insurer partners.

’Driving future growth’
Prior to joining Commercial Express, Anthony was commercial director for Acrisure UK’s retail business for 16 months between May 2023 and August 2024.
He also previously founded a Croydon-based MGA called MGAM in August 2015, which focuses on London and provincial markets. He left this business in May 2023.

Anthony additionally worked at Gallagher’s underwiting agency, OIM Underwriting, in the past – as managing director. He resigned from this post in February 2015 after a seven-year tenure.
He began his career in insurance as a claims handler at QBE Insurance back in April 1989.
Speaking on his new appointment, Anthony said: “I’m hugely excited to be joining such an innovative and forward thinking team at Commercial Express.
