New chief executive Ann Haugh aims to strenghten Zurich's GCUK position
Zurich has appointed Ann Haugh as chief executive of global corporate in the United Kingdom (GCUK).
Hough will report to Thomas Hürlimann, chief executive of global corporate in Europe. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Hough, who starts the role on 1 February, will lead the global corporate organisation in the UK.
She joined Zurich in 1996 and worked in a variety of underwriting and management roles. In 2007 she became chief operating officer for global corporate in North America and in 2009 was appointed chief operating officer for global corporate, located in Zurich.
Ann will be based in London and will be a member of the executive management team of global corporate in Europe.
Hürlimann said: “Ann has proven her excellent leadership qualities, both as chief operating officer and in numerous senior roles within the group.
"Her deep understanding of the corporate marketplace combined with her global experience means she is perfectly placed to lead Global Corporate UK and drive it to further growth.”
