Seven-strong team’s qualifications range from Certificate in Insurance to Advanced Diploma
Zurich Private Clients’ claims team members are celebrating after achieving a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification.
The team of multi-skilled claims handlers, based in Manchester, are responsible for high net worth (HNW) claims across motor, home and travel. The level of CII qualifications across the team now range from the Certificate in Insurance up to the Advanced Diploma (ACII).
Zurich Private Clients claims handler Susan Maloney, who was the most recent member of the team to pass her Certificate of Insurance, said: “We teamed up with a study buddy and organised lunchtime revision sessions. As well as encouraging each other and sharing ideas, the healthy competition definitely helped spur us on.
“I’m delighted to have passed my exams, and it’s even more rewarding to know that my personal achievement is also contributing to the growing skills of our whole team.”
In January this year, Zurich became the first composite UK general insurer to gain CII Chartered Insurer status for the whole of its UK general insurance business.
Zurich Private Clients’ head Matthew Schofield said: “This is a fantastic achievement by the Zurich Private Clients Claims team, and a shining example of our commitment to growing expertise and professionalism across the business.
“Zurich’s CII accredited ‘Licence 2 Handle’ training programme has encouraged the team to continue their studies. This is helping employees across the business to appreciate the full value of continuous learning and professional development, and allows them to reach their full potential.”
