Peter Clark to join Zurich next month in commercial lines underwriting role
Zurich has hired former AXA Corporate Solutions commercial boss Peter Clark in its UK general insurance division
Clark will become head of property and strategy exposure management, commercial lines, on 1 October 2010.
He will be responsible for the profitable development of Zurich’s £450m property book.
He was regional commercial manager for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia at AXA Corporate Solutions.
Commercial lines underwriting director, Graham Prior, said: “I’m delighted that Peter is joining us. His depth of knowledge and experience is going to be a real asset for Zurich and this appointment further demonstrates our commitment to be the best in the UK market.
Clark added: “I am relishing the opportunity to help Zurich achieve their goals for this important and substantial part of their commercial lines business in the UK.”
