David Hall becomes chief of UK Global Corporate business.
Zurich Global Corporate has appointed David Hall as chief executive officer of Zurich Global Corporate UK.
The appointment is effective as 23 June.
Hall takes over from David Martin, who becomes now Head of Customer & Distribution Management for Zurich Global Corporate.
He joins from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he served as director of market management and communications.
He has worked with three major insurers over the past two decade, across a rang of lines including Aviation, Commercial, Corporate, Global Corporate, Engineering, Environmental and Marine.
In a statement Zurich said Hall’s priority would be to further strengthen Global Corporate's strong position in the UK, delivering profitable growth through rigorous underwriting.
Thomas Hürlimann, chief executive of Zurich Global Corporate in Europe, said: “David's extensive knowledge of the insurance industry in general, and the corporate insurance segment in particular, underpinned by deep insight into customer and broker relations makes him ideally positioned for his new role."
