Willis has signed a long-term lease in the One World Financial Center.

The broker is planning to move its New York associates from their current locations at Hanover Square and Wall Street Plaza to a 205,000 square feet space in the lower Manhattan building, with effect from the second quarter of 2007.

Joe Plumeri, chairman and chief executive of Willis Group Holdings, said: “It is first-class space for first-class people and I could not be more proud of what we have all accomplished together such that we can make this great commitment to our future.”

The space will be customised in time for Willis' move, with conference and technology facilities.
