Global insurance broker Willis has recruited a team of brokers who specialise in insuring the risks associated with mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
The team will join colleagues offering specialist products and services in the M&A area, to create a new unit called Transaction Solutions. The unit will fall within Willis's Global Financial and Executive Risks practice.
Willis chairman and chief executive Joe Plumeri said: "Their recruitment reflects our unswerving commitment to being world leader in providing clients with bespoke solutions to their risk exposures, whatever form those may take."
The team, led by Nathan Sewell, comprises Deborah McBrearty, Brian Hendry, Richard Multon, James Rasmussen and Melanie Barnes.
