Three senior appointments made
Willis' UK Employee Benefits Practice has been strengthened by three senior appointments and the expansion of its capabilities to Reading.
Jamie Simmons and Chris Bhatt bring over 28 years of experience to the London office as Client Relationship Manager and Business Development Director, respectively. Simmons comes from Heath Lambert and will be responsible for advising a portfolio of clients on all aspects of their Group Risk and Healthcare programmes. Bhatt arrives from PIFC Consulting, and will provide full consultancy services, and in particular he will advise on benefit strategies to the M&A markets.
The third hire represents the expansion of Willis’ Employee Benefits Practice capabilities to Reading, where Stephen Bartlett has been appointed to act in the capacity of Consultant. Bartlett will also have the overall responsibility for the delivery of the range of services engaged from Willis as the Client Account Director. He has over 20 years of experience in the Employee Benefits field, having worked for eight years with Jardine Lloyd Thompson, and previously with Norwich Union and Royal & Sun Alliance.
Commenting on these appointments, Managing Director of the Willis’ UK Employee Benefits Practice, Tony Powis said: “In September of last year we added Employee Benefits capabilities to our Manchester office, and I am delighted that we are now expanding these services to our Reading office. The development of the EB presence in Willis’ regional offices is a key feature of our business plan and as we identify further talent we will continue the expanding our EB offering into our regional office network.”
