Whittington strengthens in Singapore

Whittington Group, the international insurance investor and services provider, has strengthened its Singapore senior management team with the appointment of Chen Xia Ling as chief financial officer of Whittington Asia Pacific and Isabelle Leroy as senior project manager at Whittington Asia Pacific.

The appointments further boost Whittington’s presence in Asia as the group continues its expansion across the region.

Chen was previously finance firector for Aviva’s life and investment administration business in Singapore, Hong Kong and the Middle East, a position she held for five years. She will lead Whittington’s finance function across the Asia Pacific region and support the delivery of the business strategy while ensuring the proper management and reporting of all financial aspects of the business.

Leroy was previously sales and marketing director of a major French insurance company and prior to that she worked for General Electric in senior management positions for several years. She will be responsible for leading several individual projects currently being undertaken by the group in the Asia Pacific region.
