Bronek Masojada, chief executive of Hiscox, has been replaced as deputy chairman of Lloyd's by fellow senior market figure, Graham White.
Masojada, whose term of office on the Council of Lloyd's ended on 31 January 2007, makes way for the executive director of Argenta Private Capital.
At a meeting of the Council yesterday Lord Levene was re-appointed as chairman of Lloyd's; Ewen Gilmour, chief executive of Chaucer Syndicates, was re-appointed as deputy chairman of Lloyd's; and Bill Knight was re-appointed as deputy chairman of the Council.
Lloyd's chairman, Lord Levene said: “I would like to thank the Council members whose terms of office have come to an end for their hard work, especially Bronek for his major contribution as Deputy Chairman of Lloyd's.”
White added: “I am delighted to be appointed as Deputy Chairman at this important time for the market. Lloyd's is in a position of strength and is making good progress. I look forward to working towards further improving the market's competitive position.”
