Group aiming for growth following 'most successful year ever'
Broker alliance Westinsure claims 2009 was one of its most successful years to date as it grew gross written premiums to £300m and added more than 35 new brokers, increasing its total member offices to over 200.
Westinsure chief executive Max Hardman said: “Even though market conditions were difficult last year, we are delighted that 2009 was such a successful year for us. We continue to provide excellent value for money to brokers of all sizes with our competitive offering, and our sales growth and member figures speak for themselves.”
He continued: “Having strong relationships with the majority of composite insurers like AXA, Allianz, Groupama, Fortis, LV, MMA & NIG, Westinsure continues to be a major player in the broker network and an attractive proposition to insurance brokers – we look forward to 2010 and seeing the alliance going from strength to strength.”
Westinsure also credited its success at last year’s Insurance Times Awards with two of its members winning awards. Michael Pavey Group won the ‘Best Regional Broker of the Year’ and Bloomhill Insurance Solutions won the ‘It Pack Member of the Year’.
