New Marsh UK chief executive sets his agenda
Mark Weil has spoken in reaction to starting his new role as chief executive of Marsh’s UK business.
Weil said: “I am looking forward to reinforcing our strong customer focus, moving our operations to the highest possible standard and making smarter use of the data we generate to help our clients.”
Weil was previously head of EMEA financial services at Marsh’s sister company Oliver Wyman.
He will report to previous Marsh UK chief executive Martin South, who was recently promoted to chief executive of Marsh Europe.
Weil added: “The UK economy faces some big headwinds over the coming months, not least from the Eurozone whose difficulties remain unresolved. I am already meeting with our clients to ensure that we do all we can to equip them to weather this and any other storms.”
