Fulcher to help enhance company's presence in the London Market
Watson Wyatt has expanded its non-life insurance consulting team with the appointment of Graham Fulcher in a senior client facing role. The recruitment reflects the strategic intention of Watson Wyatt to be a larger player in the London Market.
Fulcher has over 10 years' experience in non-life actuarial work and has joined Watson Wyatt from Ace European Group where he was chief actuary.
He will report to Martin Pike, European practice director, Insurance & Financial Services at Watson Wyatt, who said: "I am delighted that Graham has joined our team at Watson Wyatt. We have ambitious plans for the growth of our non-life team, and we are keen to provide a challenge to the more established players in the London Market. We think London Market clients will welcome an increased level of competition as we bring our expertise and energy to the market."
Fulcher's capabilities include the core non-life actuarial areas of pricing, reserving, reinsurance evaluation and programme design, capital management and catastrophe modelling. He has also led recent professional working parties and has presented widely in the areas of insurance linked securitisation and the impact of climate change on non-life insurers.
