In this exclusive video interview, Insurance Times chief reporter Danny Walkinshaw asks Biba's head of compliance and training, Steve White, what 'industry guidance' means for brokers and how they should approach it.
The FSA has now granted ‘industry guidance’ status on the market solution surrounding the conflicts of interest, disclosure and transparency issue. It has been designed to address outcomes for commercial customers set by the regulator.
Brokers have been encouraged to adopt the approach that is set out in the guidlines. Watch the video to find out more about this and what Biba is doing to help brokers.
