Grant Thornton director Angus Tucker takes lead role at Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
Angus Tucker, director insurance claims solutions of Grant Thornton, has been appointed president of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA), with immediate effect.
CILA is the Chartered body for claims specialists who investigate, quantify, negotiate and agree the conclusion of insurance and other claims on behalf of insurers and policyholders.
Tucker said: "I am delighted to have been appointed President of CILA at such an important time for the loss adjusting profession.
"I will continue the work of CILA with insurance and government bodies to examine the industry's preparedness to respond to future major claims events such as weather - related incidents. CILA's priority continues to be to provide skilled and immediate response to policyholders on difference loss scenarios."
