New Hyperion boss has been at Towergate since March 2015
Hyperion has appointed Oliver Corbett as its new group chief financial officer (CFO), as the Towergate interim financial boss replaces the outgoing Eric Fady.
Corbett, who previously spent nine years as financial chief at Lloyd’s insurer Novae, been interim CFO at Towergate since March.
A Towergate spokesperson said a replacement for Corbett had yet to be appointed.
Earlier this year, Hyperion announced a merger with RK Harrison, and Corbett joins with extensive mergers and acquisitions experience gained at corporate finance firms SG Warburg and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
Hyperion chief executive David Howden said: “Oliver is exceptionally well equipped to play an important part in the group’s future, which will be shaped by strong organic growth, continuing to attract the industry’s best talent, and our selective acquisition strategy.”
Corbett will replace current Hyperion group CFO Eric Fady, who has left the company after seven yearsin the role. This year, Hyperion has projected revenue of £400m and became the world’s largest employee-owned insurance group.
