Truck Assist to be provided by National Breakdown.
Towergate Underwriting’s specialist transportation division has launched a new commercial breakdown policy Truck Assist which offers subscription based breakdown cover to haulage clients.
Until now independent hauliers could only pay for breakdown cover on a ‘pay on use’ basis - which often meant having to call a breakdown service and pay on credit card for recovery or repair.
The cover, provided by National Breakdown Truck Assist, will add significant value to Towergate Underwriting’s commercial vehicle insurance portfolio ‘Flagship’, which provides insurance to owners and operators of HGVs with specifically tailored cover that promotes economic and safe driving. It is offered with a fully insured breakdown Policy for vehicles up to 44Ton.
National Breakdown have been providing breakdown services for the domestic, commercial and HGV market for 10 years and despite market changes they have retained their specialist status by only providing breakdown cover.
