Towergate Underwriting Group has launched a household insurance product for the UK expatriate market.
The EuroLifestyle policy will be offered through Towergate Holiday Homes. Towergate said the product would initially be targeted at expatriates living in Portugal and Spain.

Towergate Holiday Homes' Vic Dobbs, said: “The opportunity for a British policy is abundantly clear when you talk to UK expatriates.
“Most of these people buy their household insurance locally and it is frightening how many of them do not know either what they are covered for, or the limits on key parts of their policy. When they come to claim misconceptions are very suddenly revealed.
