Tim Grant and John Kennedy will report to finance chief Scott Egan
Towergate has appointed two executives to its finance team.
Tim Grant has been appointed group financial controller. He joins from Zurich Insurance, where he has been financial controller since 2009.
John Kennedy has been named divisional finance director for Towergate’s retail division. He joins from motor claims technology company Validus, where he has been finance director since 2010. Kennedy has also held a number of senior positions at Aviva, primarily with an external commercial focus.
Towergate group chief financial officer Scott Egan (pictured) said: “A priority for me upon joining Towergate has been to ensure that finance is a function which has a key strategic focus aligned to driving the growth of the group.
By bringing in new talent to add to an existing team which is both committed and extremely capable, we are adding strength and depth to the team for the next stage of the Towergate journey.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
