Changes effective from the start of next year
Kiln (UK) Holdings Ltd, the holding company of the Kiln Group, has made senior management changes effective from January 1 2009.
Charles Franks will be appointed chief executive of the Kiln Group, a position that he will hold together with his current role of chief executive of R J Kiln & Co. Edward Creasy will become chairman of the Kiln Group, a position he will hold alongside his current role as chairman of R J Kiln & Co Limited.
Franks said: “Everyone at Kiln owes Edward an enormous amount for the drive with which he has led the transformation of this business during the last eight years. I am delighted to be taking over the role of chief executive of the Kiln Group at this exciting time in Kiln’s development, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside Edward as we move forward with Tokio Marine to realise our joint strategy.”
Kiln is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokio Marine. Its UK operating company, R J Kiln & Co Limited, has four syndicates at Lloyd’s.
