New recruits join broker’s Global Risks team
Broking group THB has hired three brokers to its Global Risks division: Rob Wooderson, Marcus Williamson and Paul Butler.
The three men will focus on improving the delivery of products and services to existing and prospective THB clients.
According to THB, the new recruits will bring specialist knowledge of some of the Global Risks unit’s target areas, such as mining and power. They also contribute product knowledge in contractors plant and equipment and political risks.
Wooderson joins from RFIB. Williamson was previously with NMB & PWS. Butler has had 20 years’ experience in Australia, including role with both Aon and Marsh.
“In recent years THB Global Risks has developed a strong reputation in its core markets and as a result has experienced successful growth,” said Craig Kingaby, managing director of THB Global Risks, in a statement. “The three new appointments will allow us to expand our current presence in Latin America and Asia, provide an improved level of service to our clients in the other markets in which we currently operate and also signal a new strategic move into the Australian and Pacific markets.”
