John Goldsmith joins the THB board.
THB Group has appointed John Goldsmith as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.
In a statement to the London Stock Exchange following the groups AGM, THB said "Goldsmith is a very experienced insurance professional, having been chairman of Denis M. Clayton, the London insurance and reinsurance broker that now forms part of Towers Perrin."
Vic Thompson, chief executive Officer of THB Group, said: "The appointment of John Goldsmith adds a significant weight of industry experience to the Board's deliberations, particularly in the international and reinsurance areas. We are delighted that John has selected THB as the only insurance broking directorship he will hold."
