Software Solutions Partners (SSP) has extended its IT contract with Swinton to encompass recently acquired brokers and the group's online operations.
SSP will incorporate the 91 branches that Swinton acquired from Budget in August 2006 into the core SSP broking system. The technology house will also provide core SSP components for Swinton's recently launched website which is integrated into the same back office system.
The new contract runs for three years.

"The ability to provide an IT system that integrates across all channels whilst being capable of quick and efficient data migration, was fundamental.”
Swinton IT director Adrian Hazeldine said: “Over the years, we have benefited from our strong business partnership with SSP and have always been impressed by their understanding of our business and their ability to deliver.
"We are pleased to commit to a continued partnership incorporating the eBusiness functionality and the inclusion of the sites acquired from Budget Retail. The Internet continues to grow in importance and this joint development will help drive further organic growth for Swinton in 2007. We expect over a quarter of new motor business to be written on the internet this year. ”
