Swiftcover founder Andrew Blowers appointed as AA non-exec director

AA has appointed Swiftcover founder and former chief executive Andrew Blowers as a non-executive director.

He is currently non-executive chairman of insurance broker QMetric Group.

Blowers was the chief executive of Swiftcover from 2004 to 2009 and an executive director of Churchill Insurance before then.

AA executive chairman Bob MacKenzie said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew as an independent non-executive director. Andrew’s wealth of experience in the insurance industry will be a major asset to the AA board and we look forward to working with him.”
