Product offers commercial commercial and marine covers

St. Paul Travelers has launched a combined commercial and marine package policy for the marine leisure industries. Eligible trades include boat builders and repairers, yacht clubs, boat yards, chandlers and marine equipment manufacturers.

The insurer said the policy has been carefully constructed to provide the full range of property, casualty and marine covers in one comprehensive solution. It is complemented by risk management support, advice and guidance.

It said: "Policyholders will enjoy the convenience of one quotation, one policy, one renewal date and one premium rather than having to mix and match cover from a number of sources."

Roger Gray, St Paul Travelers senior product manager - manufacturing, saud: "There are currently only a few competitors in this market providing a marine trades package policy, with select specialist brokers bridging both the commercial combined and marine insurance markets.

"Many other brokers find the current products confusing so our Marine Industries policy has been designed to simplify the situation."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
