Parabis and Everatt join forces

Specialist insurance law firms Parabis Law and Everatt & Company have announced plans to merge.

The transaction will create a combined entity with tunover of £100m, more than 60 partners and more than 1,000 people overall. From February, Everatt will trade as Plexus Law.

By joining forces, the firms aim to further strengthen their London market capability and create a company with comprehensive regional coverage in the North and Midlands. The merger brings together Parabis Law’s two specialist insurance law firms: Plexus Law (defendant) and Cogent Law (claimant) and Everatt & Company (defendant).

The companies contend that together, they will be in a much stronger position to extend the range of work they do for their client base of leading insurers.

Tim Oliver, senior partner at Plexus Law, said:“There is growing pressure on firms to continue to deliver the highest levels of quality and service, often across an increased number of business lines. We believe that joining with Everatt & Company is a natural step which ensures that we have the capability and experience immediately available to handle the new work we are both aiming to secure in a very competitive market, in addition to all existing business.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
