Dismissing wags’ suggestions that these were the broker’s latest acquisitions, Backchat was heartened to discover that the company was adopting the puppies – appropriately named Smartie and Cookie – as part of a fund raising initiative for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Whether the young pups will be sniffing out new acquisitions for the AXA broker remains to be seen.
Or they may just bring back a bone.
