Small business broker claims industry first with new platform
Online insurance broker Simply Business has launched the an online tracking platform for its customers with claims.
The new service, which it claims is the first of its kind in the commercial insurance market, will enable users to track the progress of their claims online at any time.
In addition, it will facilitate a fast track settlement service whereby customers can upload photos and scans of receipts and damaged goods to help speed up the claims progress.
“Our mission is to make it as easy as possible for small businesses to manage their insurance needs, so that entrepreneurs have one less thing to worry about. This new service is the latest stage in a process of continuous customer-led innovation,” said Chris Slater, chief operating officer, Simply Business.
“While the technical capability to offer this service to personal lines customers has been around for some time we are very proud to be the first to offer it to our commercial customers.”
The platform will be managed by Simply Businesses’ claims service provider Cunningham Lindsey.
It expects around 3000 claims to be managed using thes service during the first six months.
