Broker wants to develop portfolio through existing client base

James Hallam, the broking subsidiary of Seventeen Group, has launched a motor sports division after hiring members of the motor sports team from Integro.

James Martin, Jon Salmon and Anne Barden have joined the company to create a new sport division.

James Hallam said the team had over 25 years of experience placing motorsport and sports insurance risks, for many high profile professional sporting personalities, teams and International sports and motorsports events.

Martin said: “We are excited about joining a forward thinking specialist business to focus on developing a diverse portfolio of motorsport and sports business within the group, through our existing International client base and in support of the groups growing UK network “

Seventeen Group chief executive Paul Anscombe added: “I am delighted to welcome James and the team to James Hallam. We are continuing to build our specialist lines and our capability to achieve this has been greatly enhanced following our recent approval to Lloyds Broker status.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
