Select & Protect, a provider of household insurance through financial advisers, has offered `immediate cover' for the 40,000 homeowners left without cover following the liquidation of Tribune Risk and Insurance Services.
The policies on offer by Select & Protect are all underwritten by Norwich Union.
Select & Protect said cover would be held for a minimum of 30 days while a full application was processed and a premium quoted.
