West Midlands-based broker SecureDirect has acquired personal lines specialist Roy Ashby Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed sum, believed to be in the region of £270,000.
Under the terms of the deal, Roy Ashby, which has two offices in the West Midlands, will retain its current trading name.
SecureDirect Insurance Services managing director Graham Heathfield said: "We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue the growth of Secure-Direct and are proud to welcome on board all Roy Ashby Insurance Broker staff."
SecureDirect Insurance Services provides cover to over 50,000 customers through 26 high street branches across the West Midlands.
