Fitch Ratings has removed the SCOR Group's insurer financial strength ratings from negative watch.
It affirmed SCOR's financial strength rating as BB+, and its long term and short term rating at BB and B respectively. All ratings have a stable outlook, said Fitch.
Fitch said it believed SCOR's successful equity raising of €751m would support the group's financial profile, despite the negative impact of unexpected losses during the third quarter of 2003.
However, it said the ratings continued to reflect concerns about possible further unfavourable financial developments in the short and medium term.
