Claims for the newly-tendered TUI Northern Europe account will be dealt with by Strategic Claims Management Ltd (SCML).
Insurance Times reported last month that AXA had won the tender to supply travel insurance to the tour operator,
TUI Northern Europe owns brands including Thomson Holidays and Lunn Poly.
It will begin work on the Lunn Poly account from the end of December 2002.
SCML will be working with AXA.
SCML's chief executive Tim Snowball said the company already works with AXA on other accounts and "the latest partnership now includes TUI", he said.
