Standard & Poor's (S&P) has affirmed the A+ counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings for Allianz Cornhill following an annual review.
The rating outlook is negative.
“The ratings reflect Allianz Cornhill's strategic importance to its ultimate parent, Allianz AG, its strong investments, and strong capitalisation,” said S&P credit analyst Nigel Bond.
S&P said the positive factors were partly offset by the company's good but improving operating performance.
The negative outlook for Allianz Cornhill reflects the negative outlook of Allianz AG.
