Sabre Insurance has appointed Universal Salvage to handle half of all its accident-damaged vehicles, to take effect next month.
Sabre said it had awarded to the contract to Universal Salvage because the company "offers an efficient, quality service and a guarantee that all necessary legislation is adhered to".
It added that Universal's StatUS management system would give Sabre access to a secure vehicle control and reporting extranet which will help to reduce costs and streamline processes.
Universal Salvage chief executive Martin Hynes said: "We are delighted to add Sabre to our client list, and are looking forward to developing our relationship over the coming months."
Universal Salvage is a leading motor salvage organisation that handles around 130,000 vehicles a year.
