Scott Taylor Associates will move to Cambridge office
Cambridge insurance broker S-Tech has announced its acquisition of Newmarket broker Scott Taylor Associates, which specialises in professional indemnity (PI) insurance.
Scott Taylor Associates (STA), which has been in business for 22 years, offers all areas of PI insurance and specialises in schemes for agricultural consultants, barristers, relocation agents, surveyors and property professionals.
Following the purchase, the Scott Taylor team, which is headed by company founder Martin Taylor, will be based at S-Tech’s Victoria Road, Cambridge, offices.
S-Tech director Des Matthewson said: “We have had a symbiotic relationship with STA for many years now, so we knew they were a nice fit for us, bringing another area of knowledge and a slightly different client base that bolsters our PI offering and gives them additional resources to develop business. They are also a good fit culturally, with a similar approach to professionalism and service.”
Martin Taylor: “I wanted to be able to offer clients a wider range of insurance products and S-Tech is a regional broker with a strength in the market place. Having transacted business with them since STA started I know we both have a similar philosophy in that we work closely with our clients.”
S-Tech Insurance Services Ltd, which was founded in 1982, provides a full range of commercial insurance, credit insurance, personal insurance and financial services.
