Lloyds broker Ellis Clowes & Company has hired professional rugby player Hugh Vyvyan.
He has been apointed business development consultant to grow the company's rugby insurance business.
Vyvyan will continue to be contracted to Saracens, and will be available to London’s leading rugby club when required.

Karen Ellis, managing director of Ellis Clowes, said: “Hugh has proved to be a leader and winner on the pitch and we are confident that he will become a driving force within our specialist professional rugby business.
"Through its heritage, Ellis Clowes has been leading provider to the global motor sport industry for more than 30 years and now we are looking to develop and grow our rugby business to a similar global level."
Vyvyan is an England rugby international and has played more than 230 Aviva Premiership games for the Newcastle Falcons and Saracens since joining the St Albans based club in 2004.

Vyvyan added: “Having spent three years looking at my post rugby career, with considerable help from Saracens and the RUINN network I have been offered a post with Ellis Clowes who have some exciting plans for insurance in the rugby world,” enthuses Vyvyan.
“It is a great opportunity to combine my knowledge in rugby and start work in the City with an ambitious and motivated company. I am really looking forward to the challenge and hope to combine this with helping Saracens continue to improve on and off the field."
