Two new roles to focus specifically on renewable energy
RSA has created two new roles within its renewable energy team.
The insurer has appointed Adam Hearn and Sam Millard as dedicated renewable energy underwriters
It said traditionally, underwriters within construction, power and engineering (CPE) have underwritten business for all three areas.
Hearn has been in the insurance industry for 17 years, and has spent the majority of this time at RSA, with a brief period at Willis prior to this.
Millard started his career at RSA and was trained within the CPE division.
Steve Allen, director of CPE at RSA said: "Renewable energy is a huge area of interest and growth for RSA this year. I am delighted that we are now in a position to appoint a team that will dedicate its time and resources to this area, allowing us greater capacity for new business.
"We will also be able to further enhance our already considerable expertise within the sector, developing greater knowledge of our customers needs and development plans. Adam and Sam are both passionate about the renewable rnergy sector and fully committed to taking this business forward."
