Phil Wilson-Brown has worked for the insurer for 10 years and joins from its Scandinavian business
RSA has appointed Phil Wilson-Brown as the new managing director of its direct personal lines brand More Than.
Reporting to RSA personal lines managing director Mark Christer, Wilson-Brown will be responsible for the day to day running, future direction and strategy of More Than.
He will take on the new role from January 2015.
Wilson-Brown has worked for RSA for 10 years and joins from its Scandinavian business, where he is currently the strategy, marketing and customer director.
During this time there he has helped in the re-launch of RSA’s brands in Sweden, Denmark and Norway as well as the development of the business’s online strategy.
He replaces Janet Connor who joined the AA as managing director of insurance in August.
Christer said: “Following an extensive internal and external search, I am delighted we have been able to secure someone of Phil’s calibre to lead the More Than business forward.
“Providing excellent service and being there for our customers when they need us most is absolutely critical to our business, and Phil’s knowledge and expertise in this area will prove invaluable. I know he will make a big difference to both More Than and our personal lines business more generally.”
Wilson-Brown added: “More Than is a great brand, with a unique position in the market and some exciting developments planned. I’m looking forward to working with the More Than team and to help build upon their great work.”
