Coffey will report to personal lines intermediation boss Mark Allan
RSA has appointed Mark Coffey as managing director of its Private Client division.
Coffey will be responsible for high net worth personal lines business and will report to Personal Lines Intermediated division managing director Mark Allan.
Allan said: “Over the last few years, our high net worth business has grown significantly. We’ve worked hard to become one of the leading insurers in this area and, thanks to the high-quality service and products we provide, we’ve been able to accomplish this.
“As one of our key target segments, it’s important that we continue to be successful in this market, which is why I’ve appointed Mark. His experience, combined with the strong relationships he has with brokers, makes him the perfect person for this job and I look forward to seeing our business become even stronger.”
Coffey has been at RSA for three years, previously heading the insurer’s Personal Lines Regional Broker division. Prior to that, Coffey worked at Zurich and has 30 years of industry experience.
Coffey said: “I’m extremely pleased to be taking responsibility for our Private Client division. We have an excellent reputation in this market, but as part of our ambition to be the number one player it’s important that we continue to offer the best products and a first-class service to our customers.
“Creating a strategy that helps us deliver this will be my main priority over the coming months, and I look forward to working with my team and our broker partners to achieve it.”
