RSA names new commercial finance director

RSA has appointed Mark Laughton as its new finance director for UK commercial.

Laughton will lead the finance team for the UK commercial business, managing a team of 17 and working closely with UK commercial managing director Jon Hancock, and finance director for the UK and western Europe Denise Cockrem.  

Laughton was most recently at Visa Inc, where he was the regional chief finance officer across Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Hancock said: “Mark is a particularly strong addition to the team, bringing with him a wealth of experience from time spent within the finance and treasury profession. His strong commercial outlook will be integral to realising our ambitions within commercial, and I look forward to working closely with him on our plans for next year and beyond.”

Laughton added: “Having begun my career within insurance, I’m delighted to be returning to the industry. Driving the finance agenda for the UK commercial business is a fantastic opportunity, so I’m excited to embark on the next stage of my career with RSA.”
