Regan Shaw and Michelle Taylor join insurer’s strategic account team
RSA has hired Regan Shaw (pictured) and Michelle Taylor as strategic account directors for UK commercial and global specialty lines business.
Shaw joins RSA from Aviva, where he was head of broker performance management. Taylor previously worked at Lloyd’s motor insurer ERS as head of broker development and planning.
In their new roles, Shaw and Taylor will help RSA further develop its relationships with global and national brokers.
They will report to relationship director for UK commercial and global specialty lines Owen Thomas.
They join the strategic account director team of Jonathan Forster, Jen Rex, Claire Thyne, Santa Gascoigne and Neil Pickard.
Thomas said: “2015 was a fantastic year of growth for our strategic accounts team. I’m excited at the prospects of achieving further growth this year with our biggest and most diverse brokers.
“It is clear from their feedback that they want to do more business with us. Recruiting new talent and investing in our existing successful team is critical in delivering our ambition of driving profitable growth in 2016 and beyond.”
