RSA has appointed Mark Wright as UK customer and brilliant service director.
Wright will report to UK customer and HR director Vanessa Evans and will have responsibility for delivering “brilliant service” across the insurer's business.
Wright joined RSA in 2007 as commercial marketing director before taking on the role of UK marketing director in January 2009. RSA said a search for his successor will begin shortly.
He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Vanessa’s team and taking on this new role. We’re in a service industry and everything we do should focus on doing the right thing for our customers. It is vital that our level of service reflects this. Without our customers, we wouldn’t be the 300 year old business that we are today.”
Evans said: "Customers are at the centre of absolutely everything we do and as an insurer, we need to be there when it matters most. Our customers remain our key focus and creating this role will help drive the development of our vision to provide a consistently excellent level of service across the business – doing what we say we’re going to do, when we say we’re going to do it, first time."
